In the specific food I’m looking at, they use salmon meal and sweet potatoes for their main ingredients, giving your canine healthy meat mixed with delicious vegetables. It has 24% protein with lots of omega 3s, fatty acids, and probiotics. There are no vitamin K supplements like some brands either. If your pet doesn’t love the sweet potato in their diet though, switch flavors! There are bags with Chicken and Peas, Turkey Meal, and Beef Meal too. Kirkland Canine Food Recall

One of the largest concerns most buyers have is about the diet recalls that have been done by Kirkland. In 2007 and 2012 there were large-scale recalls, and in 2012, some dogs became sick from Salmonella. Some people do say that they find the new quality of ingredients more greasy. Some people might worry about the recall in 2012, although it’s no doubt still a top choice for a large amount of breeders thanks to its ingredients.

The ingredients are all natural and healthy with no corn, wheat, or soy. Essentially, Kirkland is premium canine food at a lower cost.
