An Introduction to the Pawscout Brand
Pawscout believes that with proper design, technology and sense of community, they can eliminate the heartbreak of losing a pet. They stand out to me because of their passion for owners and pets. They really do care about the owner pet relationship dynamic. They also have a very interactive mobile application with so many added features.
They made a very affordable pet tracker that comes in many designs and colors; making it possible for every owner to be able to buy one. You can also choose to have a custom engraved face plate added with your pet’s name and your information. For less than thirty dollars, you can own a Pawscout, and for an additional fifteen dollars, you can have the personalized faceplate as well.

The Pawscout is a lightweight and affordable pet tracker that works for cats and dogs of all sizes. It uses Bluetooth technology and will locate your pet within a two hundred foot radius. To use the tracker you have to download the free mobile app. The mobile application is very interactive and has a lot of useful features.

The mobile application that you download with the tracker has a lot of features. You can make a very detailed profile of your pet. You can also set a virtual leash, so that if your pet goes farther than the leash allows, you will receive an alert.

How It Works
Radar style honing uses bluetooth to find your pet’s location. It will give you an exact location if your pet is within a two hundred foot radius. You will also receive an alert if your pet is within another Pawscout’s radius. You can ask family members and friends to download the application so that they can keep an eye on your pet as well.
If your pet becomes lost, you can send out a lost pet flyer on the application. The lost pet flyer alerts other Pewscout users in your area that your pet is lost. If they find your pet, they can alert you. And with your pet’s detailed profile, they will know the proper way to care for your pet.

General Customer Impression of Pawscout
Most customers love their Pawscout. Some have issues with the tracking not being as accurate. A majority of customers wish the tracking range being larger, maybe Pawscout can fix this in the future. This product really depends on customer preference.
Tina had a cat for fourteen years that ended up getting outside and getting lost; the cat never returned. She did an extensive amount of research to decide the best way to prevent her from ever losing another pet again. Once she got another cat, she finally decided to get the Pawscout tracker. She panicked one day thinking that her cat got out, so she turned her mobile app on. After turning on the application, she saw that her cat was still in the house. Tina loves all of the features on the application; like the one that helps you make a missing pet poster to post on the app for other users to see.
Carrie doesn’t like that you have to be so close to your pet in order for it to work. She also says that the real time GPS is very slow. She suggests that you make sure that the tracker doesn’t go into rest mode if your pet is around you or your home for long periods of time.
The Pawscout is great for pet owners who would like to keep track of their pets as long as they are in a close proximity. It would also be beneficial if there are other Pawscout users in their area; or have neighbors and friends download the mobile application. It is very affordable and lightweight. It would be a better product if the range was larger and used actual GPS tracking. Read about the Whistle GPS
